One Percent Showcase: RedHots National Goes 3-0

There’s something special about competing in an elite event like the One Percent Showcase, where every player is there to make a name for themselves. For me, competing with my RedHots National team was an experience that surpassed all expectations—and it wasn’t just about going undefeated with a 3-0 record, but about the intense competition, unforgettable moments, and the chance to showcase my skills in front of top college recruiters.

The Energy at the One Percent Showcase

From the moment we stepped onto the field, the energy was electric. You could feel the hunger from every player—each one determined to prove they belonged in the spotlight. As a defender, I thrive on these kinds of high-pressure situations. I know that one big takeaway or ground ball can swing the momentum of the game and catch the eye of the right coach.

The level of competition was top-tier. Every team had standout players, which meant no easy matchups. But as a team, RedHots National brought the fire. We played with chemistry and confidence, knowing that each of us had a job to do.

Going 3-0: A Team Effort

Going undefeated in an event like this requires everyone to bring their best, and that’s exactly what we did. Each game was a battle, but we thrived on teamwork, solid defense, and taking advantage of every scoring opportunity. As a close defenseman, my goal was to lock down some of the best offensive players in the country, and there’s nothing more satisfying than coming out on top against such high-level competition.

Playing alongside such talented teammates made every moment on the field exciting. Whether it was a key transition play, a perfectly timed slide on defense, or pushing the ball up field to spark a fast break, we were dialed in.

Showcasing Skills in Front of Top Recruiters

The One Percent Showcase isn’t just about winning games—it’s a major recruiting event that draws college coaches and recruiters from across the country. As a player with Division I aspirations, I knew this was a big stage to leave an impression. Every ground ball I scooped, every defensive stand, and every clear I executed was an opportunity to show my versatility as both a defender and LSM.

It was an amazing feeling knowing that recruiters were watching closely, assessing every move. The pressure? I love it. It’s a chance to rise to the occasion and prove that I can perform at the highest level. Throughout the showcase, I felt I was able to demonstrate the full scope of my game—both my ability to lock down elite attackers and contribute to the offensive push when needed.

Looking Ahead: Fueling My Passion for D1 Lacrosse

Walking off the field after our final game, having gone 3-0, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride—not just for myself, but for my teammates. We all know the grind that goes into preparing for events like this, and to come out on top was a testament to our hard work.

But the journey doesn’t stop here. The One Percent Showcase was another step toward my ultimate goal of playing Division I lacrosse. Each showcase, each game, each rep in practice pushes me further toward that dream.

As I head into my freshman season at Corner Canyon High School, I’m more motivated than ever. The One Percent Showcase gave me a taste of what’s possible, and I’m ready to keep building on that momentum.

Conclusion: A Showcase to Remember

Competing at the One Percent Showcase with RedHots National was an unforgettable experience. From going undefeated to playing in front of top college recruiters, the weekend was a highlight of my lacrosse journey. It’s moments like these that fuel my passion and drive me to keep pushing forward.

Now, it’s back to the grind—because the next opportunity is always just around the corner, and I’m ready for whatever comes next.

From the backyard to Division 1 – watch the journey unfold.
